Coche Island, located just a few miles south of Margarita, is a 11 kilometer-long, 6 kilometer-wide island inhabitated by fishermen and salt-exploiters.
	Its most important town, San Pedro, has nice facilities for tourists.
You can get there either by taken a ferry at Punta de Piedras in Margarita, just renting a private boat, or from your own hotel through tours existing for those purposes in Margarita.
