Craftsmanship: Handmade work is one of the most original customs in the Island. Each little town has an specific dedication to a given particular item. In La Vecindad you will find the best Venezuelan hammocks and in Santa Rosa an specific type original from Margarita. In Padro González are expertice in basketmaking, and in Sabana de Guacuco you will find handmade basket made out of African Palms. El Cercado is the best site to find handmade ceramics and pottery, while at El Maco you will get typical shoes.
